Thank you for shopping with True Vintage Treasures. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, but we understand that sometimes things don’t work out. Please review our Refund and Returns Policy below, which outlines the conditions under which we accept returns and provide refunds.

1. Returns Policy

We accept returns for most items within 14 days of receiving your order, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The item is in its original condition—unused, unworn, unwashed, and with all original tags still attached.
  • The item must be returned in its original packaging (if applicable).

However, we do not accept returns for the following items:

  • Vintage swimwear and underwear: For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on vintage swimwear or underwear.
  • Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable”: Some items are marked as final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Important Note: Since all of our items are vintage and unique, we do not offer exchanges. If you wish to return an item, you may request a refund, but we cannot guarantee that a replacement of the same item will be available.

2. How to Return an Item

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Reach out to our customer service team at info@truevintagetreasures.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Please provide your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  2. Return Authorization: Once we receive your return request, we will issue you a Return Authorization (RA) number and provide instructions on how to return the item.
  3. Return Shipping: You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., we sent the wrong item or it was damaged upon arrival).
  4. Inspecting Your Return: Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the return conditions. If approved, we will process your refund.

3. Refunds

Once your return is processed and approved, we will issue a refund to your original payment method. Please note:

  • Refund Processing: Refunds will be processed within 14 business days from the date we receive the returned item.
  • Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the return is due to a mistake we made or if the item is defective.
  • Partial Refunds: We reserve the right to issue a partial refund or reject a return if the item is returned in a damaged or used condition or if it is missing original tags.

4. Repairs for Damaged Items

If the item you received is returned in the same condition as when it was sent and the damage was not disclosed in the product description or photos, we may offer a repair option.

  • Repair Option: We may be able to repair the item at no additional cost to you, provided the item is returnable in its original condition, and the damage was not previously stated in the listing.
  • Refunds: In this case, we will not issue a refund for the original price of the item. However, we will cover the return shipping costs for sending the item back to us.
  • Repair Processing: If a repair is necessary, we will provide you with an estimated time frame for completion. Once repaired, we will ship the item back to you at no cost.

5. No Exchanges

Due to the unique nature of our vintage items, we do not offer exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item for a different size, color, or style, please return the original item and place a new order. As our stock is one-of-a-kind, we cannot guarantee that an item will still be available once your return is processed.

6. Faulty or Damaged Items

If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at info@truevintagetreasure.com. We will provide a prepaid return label or cover the cost of return shipping. Once the item is returned, we will offer the option of a full refund or a replacement/repair if available.

Please include the following when contacting us regarding a faulty item:

  • A detailed description of the issue.
  • Photos of the damage or defect.

7. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund after 14 business days, please first check with your bank or credit card company, as there may be delays in processing. If the refund is still not reflected after this, please contact us at [email address].

8. Consumer Rights Under EU Law

As a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day cooling-off period during which you can return items, except for certain exclusions, such as vintage swimwear and underwear. These exceptions are in place for hygiene and safety reasons.
